I felt a bit unproductive today because of the amt. of different meetings I had. However, I did get to see the process of powering the testbed on and off which was pretty cool. It’s an extensive procedure with many different commands to be run. In between I tried to rewrite and review some notes but then had a meeting that quickly followed. We had a new NEW grad that joined the tool smith team who joined from the CAE team which was pretty exciting. She was a previous intern who just joined as a full time which is pretty exciting. It’s nice to have someone else new on the team! It will be a learning experience for the both of us. Josh, the toolsmith who is currently training gave her the same walkthrough of the testbeds that I got on my first day and…. I actually understood everything???? And even got clarification on things that I was a little unsure about. Learning is actually awesome?? At the end of the day, I received a new tool ask from a testbed engineer and it seems very out of my skill set but Im going to dig deeper into what actuall needs to be done and consult with Josh to see if it’s feasible in the timeframe that she asks. I literally dont know if I’ve done anything like it but I’ll try???? It requires decoding some bits so we’ll see??? Many question marks because I genuinely dont know if I can code a script like this but we will figure out tomorrow…
